What was new at Devilstick.org in 2001

• Added new Overhead Handstick Flip trick.

• Added new Hand Toss trick.
• Added new variation of Pass Under Leg.

• Updated and added new variation of Two Handstick Pass.

• Added complete list of tricks ordered alphabetically and ordered by difficulty level.

• Added a new section to the Tricks Page: Two Devilstick Tricks.
  Included are the following tricks:
  Double Propeller
  Single Stick Idles
  Dual Idle
  Double Helicopter
  Center Handstick Hit
  Double Roll Over Leg
  

• Renamed the Single Stick Pass to the Single Stick Handoff.
• The above was done because I renamed the Single Stick Two Handstick Pass to Half Flip Handoff. This made a bit more sense when adding other variations.
• Added a few new variations to Half Flip Handoff.

• Added the Trapeze trick.
• Added the Outside Trapeze trick.
• I have finished reformatting the web pages and now every trick has an individual page. These will be much easier to maintain and modify in the future.
• Near future: I hope to change the look of the pages a bit with some new updated graphics, I will be adding new tricks (many of them I learned at the IJA convention), and will add a couple new sections to the pages. So keep coming back and seeing what's new.

• Added a new book to the Devilstick Books page. It's a devilsticking book written in Japanese published by Juggling Shop Naranja.
• Not too much else new. I am working on reformatting the web pages and there will be one trick per page. I am trying to format it in this way since it will be easier to manage and have the tricks in a database format.

• Went to the IJA festival in Madison, Wisconsin this year. Saw quite a bit of good devilsticking there. I think there were only two other people there that could do two devilsticks besides myself; Greg Kennedy and Hiroshi Ueda. I learned some new tricks from Hiroshi and Dan Holzman. I'll have to take the time and write up the new tricks and add them to the pages.

• We now have one of the tricks pages translated to French!
  Thanks to Thierry Bernas who is translating the tricks pages into French.

• Added the Devilstick F.A.Q page.

• Added the Handstick balance 2 trick.

• Added the 2001 Hawaiian Vaudeville Festival video information on the video page.

• We now have more of the tricks pages translated to Spanish (propeller, helicopter, and saw tricks). Gracias again to Alfred who is translating the tricks pages into Spanish.

• Finished the difficulty level ratings to the tricks. If anyone has comments or suggestions on the listed level or changes then send me an email.

• Had a chance to go through the Juggling Step by Step video and look at the devilsticking section on it. You can take a look at the info in the videos section, and I have a complete tape index of it as well.

• We now have one of the tricks pages translated to Spanish!
  Gracias to Alfred from Spain who is translating the tricks pages into Spanish. You can take a look at the first Trucos (tricks) page he translated.

• Added a difficulty level to the tricks. I will start rating the tricks and it might take a little time to get a rating for all the tricks currently posted. Thanks to Brent Metcalf for the work on the devilstick "stars".

• Purchased and watched the Devil Sticks video with Neil Stammer. You can take a look at the info in the videos section, and I have a complete tape index of it as well.

• Added a couple vendors and Todd Strong's web page.
